    Working with all major types of underground and open cut coal mining processes, we have helped our clients achieve significant, measurable results  while maintaining a constant focus on safety.

    Although the scope for improvement varies between mines, most clients see very significant throughput increases, improved equipment availability and reduced direct costs per ton.  Mining clients typically show returns of over 3:1 on their investment. 

    Equipment Utilization:  - Increased tonnes mined by 15% and reduced engineering downtime by over 60% at an African miner of zircon, rutile and ilmenite  
      - Achieved a 10% throughput increase at a British producer of calcium carbonate which was able to defer over GBP 11M of capital expenditure 
      - Improved the recovery Valuable Heavy Minerals through spiral cleaning in the concentrators  with several millions of dollars in annual benefits  
      - Reduced ore dilution at a kimberlite mine from over 33% to less than 20% 
         
    Resource Productivity:     - Reduced the cost of external contractors by 40% and reduced overtime by 19% at a South African miner of heavy mineral sands 
      - Achieved a 20% improvement in labor productivity at an Australian rutile operation   
      - Increased meters advanced per man shift by 68% at a diamond mine
